Hydrogenated nitrile rubber (HNBR) is a highly saturated elastomer obtained by special hydrogenation of nitrile rubber. Hydrogenated nitrile rubber has good oil resistance (good resistance to fuel oil, smaroalje, aromatic solvents); and due to its high saturated structure, it has good heat resistance, and excellent chemical resistance (good resistance to chemical corrosion). HNBR reinforced with ZnO/methacrylic acid (MAA) can be used to make V-belts, isometric V-belts, bottom glue for multi-use triangle rings, vibration isolators, ensfh. In oil drilling, rubber products are required to withstand high temperature, hege druk, acid, amine, H2S, CO2, CH4, and other steam tests. Various products prepared with HNBR are resistant to acid, oalje, and solvent.
